The furniture project emerges from formal design constraints, presenting three different base shapes. The design process unfolds by choosing one form and developing it.
The furniture design process is characterized by its emergent and rapid nature, coupled with collaborative work with the community of neighbors in the Villaverde neighborhood in Madrid, Spain. It was there that a special figure, Arturo, became a crucial part of the design. Throughout the design process, he shared that he spent time in workshops at the library, where his nephews were also involved. Given that his nephews were under 10 years old, this insight became crucial in determining the primary user.

The furniture design results in a hammock chair, where the concept revolves around placing the furniture in front of nature to appreciate and admire it.

The furniture design turned out to be a challenge for construction due to a constraint on the use of wooden planks, where we were limited to using 9 wide boards and 6 narrow ones.
