Urban project located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, proposing the structuring and urban design of approximately 15km. The client requests a linear park where pedestrians and urban activity prevail.
In addition to being part of the city's expansion, where it aims to be a tourist attraction to encourage tourism in the city.

Assigned tasks
Modeling of Rhino proposal, context modeling in Revit, sidewalks, roads, and public space.

I was provided with the basic scheme of one of the sections of the project, proposing the creation of a mountain that would become a viewpoint in this large linear park.
From this point, the modeling process began in Rhino. The main focus, in addition to visualizing the design of the proposed scheme, was to assess the proportions of the project.

The project turned out to have a scale too large for the proportion of the basic scheme proposal. The viewpoint included in the project only rose 10 meters, and these 10 meters were lost in the proposal.
In addition, it was observed that the stairs intended for the ascent to the viewpoint were too many and not very user-friendly for clients.

Revit
Work was done on the structural part of roads and sidewalks in the public space context. Using a Street View provided by Coen, intersections, streets, building facades, and construction limits were reviewed. Based on this, the LOW line was modified.
Once the LOW line was advanced, the design of sidewalks and streets was addressed, taking into account regulatory measurements for both roads and sidewalks.
This involved considerations for turning angles, dimensions of parking bays, and the size of pedestrian and vehicular entrances to residential and commercial buildings in the context.

Key Plan y Sheets

A KeyPlan was created to locate or contextualize the work area in the deliverable sheets.
A parametrization of the model was done so that, based on the sheet being worked on, the KeyPlan would automatically display the work area. The goal was to streamline the workflow from the beginning so that when the project is more developed, time is not spent on this aspect and can be utilized elsewhere.
